In Humanities students are studying the book Weetamoo: Heart of the PocassetsWe’ve discussed primary sources vs. secondary sources, and are working on distinguishing fact from fiction while reading historical fiction novels. Students are also working on their first research paper and will be learning how to format Works Cited pages tomorrow afternoon.
We had a great time at the UMass Multibands pops concert on Friday. Check Facebook for an album of the trip later this week!
Support Four Winds

This wonderful parachute was recently donated by one of our families. There are many ways to support Four Winds school such as making a material or monetary donation or by liking us on social media. Thank you for your support!

Looking Ahead
  • Friday, October 26th: All day field trip to the Pequot Museum in CT. 
  • October 29th – November 2nd: Halloweek!
  • Monday, November 5th: Health classes start. We will be having six health classes this year with Whole Children‘s wonderful health teacher, Brian Melanson.
Open House
  • Tuesday, November 13th from 6 to 7:30 pm will be our Open House of the year. Open Houses are an opportunity for current students to hang out after school hours, for parents to mingle with each other and check-in with us, a chance for alumni to come back to visit , and time for prospective students visit and learn about the school.
