School News

This week in science, students made ooblek and designed experiments to test their oobleck-related hypotheses. In essays class, students peer edited each other’s essays and worked together to improve their 2nd drafts. We enjoyed a day off on Wednesday in honor of Veteran’s Day, and on Thursday students completed Jamboard projects on famous African Americans mentioned in our book One Crazy Summer about the Civil Rights Movement in 1968 Oakland. We’re gearing up to eventually work on remote group projects, which the students seem excited about! Friday’s weather forecast is too rainy and poor for outdoor learning, so we’ll follow our remote Friday schedule instead. Have a great weekend!
