School News
This week, students did an explosive experiment in science class (check our Facebook and Instagram pages next week for pictures!), and did math puzzles in Mathtivitty class. In humanities we started our government unit and learned about democracy. Students started their essay outlines about an amendment to the US Constitution or a historical supreme court case, and continued to read A Kid’s Guide to America’s Bill of Rights. On Friday in Skills Workshop we discussed consent and boundaries.
Also, thank you so much to students and parents who sent us nice “Teacher Appreciation Week” messages. We appreciate you all, too!
