School News

This week was a short week due to the three day weekend. On Tuesday we read and listened to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech instead of our normal morning poem, and students had their 2nd health class in which they discussed self care during the pandemic. On Wednesday we watched the inauguration together in the morning (and LOVED Amanda Gorman’s spoken word performance!), and in the afternoon students continued to work on group work in Mathtivity. Today in science class, students will be finishing up their unit on simple machines and starting their group projects. Tomorrow after academic work time, students will work on filling out their report cards before writing Biweekly 9!
