School News

This was our last week of school, so this will be our last Weekly Update Blog Post until next school year starts in September. We will, however, post Monthly Updates throughout the summer to keep everyone in the loop about the school renovation (more below!) as well as what our plans for the summer and fall will turn out to be.

As for finishing this school year, we had a great virtual Fun Week! While we normally go on field trips, swim, eat ice cream, and prepare for graduation, we still had a good time playing charades, contact, a movie, and pictionary using Zoom, Skirbbl.io, and Netflix Party! Additionally, students filled out their self-reflective report cards Google Forms, and completed their yearbook pages, which were assembled and printed by Copy Cat in Greenfield. The teachers surprised the students with a delivery of not just report cards and yearbooks, but of other goodies, too! It was really nice to get to see the kids in person again after months apart!

Renovation: Over the summer, the main class room will be getting a new coat of paint and new carpeting! Here’s phase 1: move everything from this room to the Quiet Room. We’ll post pics as the project progresses!
