School News

This week in Mathtivity, students continued their work on analyzing group roles and practicing group work. They also studied math groupings while they were at it! In health class, students learned about different gender identities and discussed self care.

In Humanities, students discussed Treaties, Trenches, Mud, and Blood, which they finished last week, and are writing essays about now. We also prepared to read Night by Elise Wiesel. Next week will be the beginning of the World Wars unit.

Students started their group projects about simple machines in science class on Thursday, and on Friday afternoon we had our group game/activity. This week students led trivia games using Kahoot. One student even made a Four Winds School history trivia game!

Remote games are fun, but we’re looking forward to when we can be in person together again. Have a great weekend!
