What a week! On Monday we had in-person school. We started the morning with poem/writing time in the tent, and then had our first afternoon in our different pods.

Tuesday-Thursday were remote, and we all learned a lot about video classes and technology. The EdTech professional development that Alethea and Becca took over the summer really paid off, as the student enjoyed using both Pear Deck and Jam Board, which are interactive online learning tools.

On Friday we tried out our outdoor classroom for the first time with tables and chairs, then walked to Unity Park in the afternoon. We’re looking forward to another successful week, especially now that we’ve ironed out a lot of wrinkles. Have a great week!
