#GivingTuesday is a movement to create an international day of charitable giving at the beginning of the holiday season. Non-profits and charities often use this event as a time to ask the community to donate to their causes, and for the first time, Four Winds School is doing the same!

Why Support Four Winds? Four Winds School offers an alternative education for kids who aren’t getting what they need from their current school. That matters: for many students and their families, Four Winds is a life changer! Unfortunately, we can’t run without tuition, and we know that tuition rates stop a lot of families from even considering applying to a private school. Therefore, Four Winds School is committed to keeping our tuition rates low so that local families can afford the alternative education our program offers. But this would not be possible without the continued support of people like you. There are several ways that you can help support Four Winds School, which you can learn about on our donation page or by reading on.

Calendar Fundraiser: Earlier this year, local photographer Rachel Roy collaborated with Four Winds Students to make a beautiful calendar. Titled Poems and Pics, the calendar features 12 beautiful nature photographs by Rachel, each accompanied by a haiku written by a Four Winds Student. By visiting her Facebook Fundraiser, you can choose to buy a calendar for $15 ($7 of which goes to directly supporting Four Winds, the rest covers the cost of printing). Calendars make a great and practical holiday gift!
