Former Four Winds School Directors
Steve Hussey, Founder
Steve graduated from Bates College in 1978 with a degree in History. From 1986 to 1996 he taught science at Linden Hill, a school for dyslexic boys. In 1996, he took a position at the Bement School in Deerfield teaching fifth grade. His experiences at these two diverse schools were integral to the development of the program now offered at Four Winds School, which he founded in 2000. Steve retired from teaching at Four Winds in 2015 and currently serves as the president of our Board.
Eloise earned her master’s degree from Bank Street College of Education in New York City in 1998. She has an undergraduate degree in math from Bard College and also loves poetry. Eloise taught in the public school system before coming to Four Winds in 2007, where she was the director from 2015 to 2019 and served as the Treasurer of our Board. She now teaches high school math in Hinsdale, NH.
