Philippa writes:
Philippa attended Four Winds in 8th grade, after which she went on to attend the Williston Northampton School in Easthampton, MA for high school. She graduated from Macalester College in Saint Paul, MN, in 2009, with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Mathematics, and now works at Ameriprise Financial as a Quality Analyst. She is also an Assistant Instructor at Sound Mind & Body School of Tae Kwon Do in Saint Paul, MN, and is presently pursuing her second degree black belt. She is immensely grateful for the broad-based education she received at Four Winds, which allowed her to progress well in Mathematics, History, and numerous other subjects, and which sparked an enduring interest in Aerospace. She recommends the school for any parents who are hoping to spark or nurture a spirit of intellectual curiosity in their children.

Wes Mason writes:
After graduating from Four Winds, Wes attended Northfield Mount Hermon School and then the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with dual degrees in Classics and Political Science. While completing the B.A. in Classics, Wes studied Latin, Ancient Greek, Italian, Classical Sanskrit, and Etruscan. Additionally, he spent a semester in Rome with the Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies, the premier program for American students of Classics in Italy, where he studied Latin and Ancient Greek, as well as Roman civilization, history, and culture. While completing his B.A. in Political Science he concentrated in International Relations, a subject which he hopes to pursue further in graduate school. In order to graduate with honors, Wes completed an undergraduate thesis that analyzed the political imagery of the so-called Horologium Augusti, a giant sun-dial complex constructed by Augustus in Rome. More recently, he is a contributing author for an article that will appear as a chapter in an upcoming book on civilian-military relations. The chapter is entitled, "Security or Human Security? Civilian Military Relations in Battlestar Galactica", and the head author is Dr. Charli Carpenter at UMass Amherst.

He now holds the position of Senior Technical Support Consultant at UMass Amherst, where he performs server and workstation administration as well as triage and basic forensics in data security investigations. Wes continues to take classes in Political Science and French. He will be applying to graduate school for International Relations in the near future.
